BACKYARD PILATES

Backyard Pilates at Balanced Fitness Studios

Backyard Pilates is a no-nonsense Pilates program led by Erin O’Hagan, designed for people who want to feel better in their bodies while getting stronger, leaner, and more capable.

This is not fluff Pilates. It’s intelligent, form-driven training that builds real strength from the inside out.

Classes focus on deep core activation, glute strength, joint stability, and full-body control. You’ll move with intention, understand what you’re doing, and leave feeling worked—but not wrecked.

Meet Erin

Erin is a certified Pilates and fitness professional with a background rooted in both training and rehabilitation.

After years of high-impact training and multiple injuries—including neck surgery and chronic lumbar strain—she turned to Pilates as a way to rebuild her body. What started as recovery became a complete shift in how she approaches movement.

Her philosophy is simple:
Move better. Feel better. Get stronger without breaking yourself down.

She combines breathwork, alignment, and strength to help clients build sustainable results. Her coaching is detailed, practical, and tailored to the individual.

What Makes Backyard Pilates Different

Erin’s approach blends traditional Pilates principles with a practical, results-oriented style. Every movement has a purpose.

You can expect:

Strong emphasis on proper form and alignment

Clear instruction with real-time corrections and modifications

A focus on quality over speed or repetition

Workouts that challenge you without beating up your joints

A balance of strength, mobility, and recovery

This is training that builds your body—not breaks it down.
